Cars for the Country

If you live in the heart of the countryside, your requirements might be very different when looking for a second hand car. Instead of looking for something eye catching and prestigious, your criteria change dramatically when you have to cart pets or grass around and you may find yourself looking for second hand land rovers or another four by four.

However, it is possible to combine a run around for carting things about and a good looking car in one if you choose carefully and consider all the aspects.

Firstly, it has to be spacious, as you will need to carry around everything from tools and equipment to the pet dog. Preferably the back seat will fold down to lie flat to give you the maximum room when you need it. It should also be as easy to clean as possible. You can lay down mats and blankets when you are carrying dirty things but inevitably some finds its way down the back of the seat.

The back door should open as wide as possible to allow easy loading, and of course it should be suitable for driving on rough and muddy terrain.

Once you do find your ideal car, try and clean it on a regular basis as once it gets to a certain stage it is impossible to keep clean.
